Fast-Growing Water Sprite – Rooted or Floating

Ceratopteris thalictroides, commonly known as Water Sprite, is a highly versatile and fast-growing aquatic fern prized for its finely divided, lace-like leaves and exceptional nutrient-absorbing ability. It can be grown rooted in substrate or left floating, making it one of the best plants for improving water quality, reducing nitrates, and providing cover for fry and shrimp. Its rapid growth and forgiving nature make it ideal for beginners, breeding tanks, and high-bioload aquariums.
